Jeremy Stephens Snaps Losing Streak, Takes Decision From Myles Price – PFL 4 Results (Highlights)

Jeremy Stephens made his second PFL appearance and got back in the win column

Round 1

No touch of gloves for the two lightweights. Both fighters exchanged leg kicks. A double leg attempt from Price, but Stephens sprawled and ended up on top. Stephens let him up and just missed a nasty combo. Spinning back fist attempt by Price but nothing.  Stephens landed a right hook that got Price’s attention and then put him against the fence. After some reversing on the fence, Stephens landed some nasty body shots. Stephens missed with a knee but landed an uppercut. A few body kicks from Price land, but then Stephens continued his pressure. Price landed a nice combo himself, and Stephens put him against the fence. Ten seconds left in the round, and Stephens put Price against the fence.

Round 2

A touch of gloves started round two, and after a few seconds Price rushed Stephens with a combo but nothing really landed. Heavy calf kick from Stephens, and then Stephens put Price against the fence. Price escaped and ate a leg kick. Price shot in for a takedown, but Stephens stuffed it and reversed it, and put Price against the fence again. On the break, Price landed a punch followed by an uppercut – seconds later, Stephens landed a hard right hand. Price shoots another takedown, but nothing came of it. They both went back against the fence. The round ended with Price landing some dirty boxing in the clinch.

Round 3

Round 3: The final round started with Price shooting for a takedown immediately with no success. Stephens ended up on to,p and after a few seconds they both got to their feet. Stephens put Price against the fence, and as the referee went to break, Price reversed Stephens and finally landed his takedown. Price was landing a little bit of ground and pound but nothing significant. With 10 seconds left in the fight, Stephens got back to his feet and swung for the fences.

Official Result: Jeremy Stephens defeated Myles Price by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

With the win, Stephens snapped his five-fight losing streak.
