James Vick Releases Statement Says UFC Lincoln Was ‘Worst Night Of My Life’

James Vick Issues Statement Following A Quick KO Loss To Justin Gaethje At UFC Lincoln

James Vick who trash talk a lot in the built of his fight against Justin Gathje and hasn’t tasted the defeat in a while, but last night in the main event of UFC Fight Night 135 Gaethje shut him down in an emphatic fashion via vicious one-punch KO from Lincoln Nebraska.

Following a devastating loss, Vick issues a statement where he expressed his disappointment and compliments Gaethje via social media post:

”Worst night of my life last night,” Vick wrote. “Thank you Justin Gaethje for the opportunity. Though confident in myself, I did always respect you. I said what I said to get and promote the fight. You are a class act and I do appreciate your kind words last night. I have no excuses. I was in shape, healthy and confident. I blew it.”

”For all those that believed in me and support me, I am truly sorry,” he continued. “I will go back and keep training and loving this life of being a fighter and a martial artist. This is the life I have chose and I guess this comes with the territory. Thanks to all my friends, family and teammates for the support and thank you UFC for the opportunity.”

After the loss, James Vick dropped to (13-2) and snapped the four-fight winning streak. Meanwhile, Gaethje (19-2) snapped a two-fight skid.
