Wrestlemania IV was a pretty big deal. The WW(F) was reaching heights of popularity unfathomed by the industry, and they had to top the previous year’s Wrestlemania which was famously held in the Pontiac Silverdome. Remember that show? When Hogan bodyslammed Andre The Giant? Yeah, it was awesome.
So a lot of **** went down in Wrestlemania IV. You had a battle royale, a one night tournament (athletic commissions were more lax back then, you don’t see this today) and most importantly, Miss Elizabeth was hoisted atop the ultra- tanned mountainous shoulders of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage.
Those were good times.
So watch the Straight Shoot break it down!
