It’s no secret Dan Henderson is looking to put Rafael Feijao to sleep

The last time we saw a bout go to a decision on a Strikeforce main card it was December 2010. Ovince St Preux was putting a beatdown on Benji Radach in St Louis while I was discussing the finer points of extortion and mob violence with Stephen Quadros. Since OSP took the decision over Benji (in a fight that probably should have been stopped) we have witnessed 13 finishes in a row and there looks to be no end in sight. Heavy hands abound in Columbus Ohio my friends, with Melvin Manhoef, Jorge Masvidal, the heavy hitting champ Rafael Feijao and the “H Bomb” chucking Dan Henderson all throwing down, we might go a solid 3 shows in a row without having to use the judges. Excellent. To take a deeper look into what we can expect out of the explosive punching of the main event, here’s Dan “Hollywood” Henderson:

“He looks like he works real hard and he’s dangerous up there. He throws a little bit more on the looping side of the punches and not overly straight but still just as dangerous so I need to be careful up there. I don’t think it’s a secret that both of us are probably going to look for a knockout. That’s most of our finishes, when we finish a guy, it’s by strikes. I definitely plan on trying to knock him silly and pressure him the whole fight. … It’s more of a chess match. I need to make sure that I go out there and I implement my gameplan no matter who I’m fighting, whether they’re respectful or not respectful, they’re still going to be trying to knock my head off. So I need to be careful when I’m out there and get the job done.”

Henderson has Fought Vitor Belfort, Wanderlei Silva (x2) and Anderson Silva just to name a few and he has never been KO’d. 90% of Feijao’s wins have come from his fists. I can’t wait for this weekend.
