Israel Adesanya Claims “His Body Looks Like Chad Mendes” In EA Sports UFC Video Game
UFC is one of the most popular fighting video games. For example, the reigning defending 205-pound champ Jon Jones was the most powerful character at UFC Undisputed 3 (overall 95), and he was followed by striking experts Jose Aldo and Anderson Silva (overall 94).
But EA Sports UFC is definitively the most popular version of this lovely video game at the moment. And Israel Adesanya criticizes it for a good reason!
The new UFC 185-pound champion Israel Adesanya claims the game developers made him look like the retired featherweight Octagon warrior Chad Mendes. Speaking at the UFC 243 post-fight press conference, the Nigerian-born New Zealander put game creators on blast.
“Ever since they f*cked me up on EA Sports (UFC 3) and made my body look like Chad Mendes I’ve never touched that game. So I don’t f*ck with that game. All I do is play it in real life.”
Israel Adesanya will soon start to prepare for his first UFC middleweight title defense against Paulo Costa. In the meantime, maybe UFC EA Sports could prepare his next video character better. After all, Chad Mendes and Israel are masters of two completely different fighting styles.
