Israel Adesanya asked the right questions before his latest outing at UFC 276.
This past Saturday, UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya took on Jared Cannonier in the headlining bout of UFC 276. Adesanya came out on top of the contest comfortably with a clean sweep on two of the judges’ scorecards. However, he touched on a topic ahead of the fight that still needs more traction.
Israel Adesanya wants Ghislaine Maxwell clients to get time
During the build-up to his latest title defense, ‘Stylebender’ talked about the wicked case of Ghislaine Maxwell, a British convicted sex offender, and former socialite.
“Ghislaine Maxwell just got put away for 20 years so she was supplying kids for these f*cking pedos right. Where’s the list? Is that just like (goes over the head), I don’t know.
A media member interjected to add a point to Adesanya’s argument highlighting how Johnny Depp’s trial with Amber Heard got all the attention whereas Maxwell’s case developments were swept under the rug.
“Kinda weird that that got no coverage but Johnny Depp Amber Heard was everywhere.”
Adesanya continued further to bring attention to the client list of disgraced late financier Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Maxwell.
“Everywehere, yeah. The list of politicians and actresses and actors or whatever that they talked about. Does that get swept under the rug? Do they not get any time for actually f*cking those kids? That’s weird how that just doesn’t compute with me.”
Maxwell & Jeffrey Epstein’s wicked case
Epstein was accused of sex trafficking and that of minors in what was suspected to be part of a larger ring. Initially, charges were brought against him in March 2005 by a minor who claimed that Epstein had solicited her for adult work.
While in jail, Epstein was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in New York City at 6:30 a.m. EDT on August 10, 2019.
In 2021, Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty in a New York court of child sex trafficking and other offenses in connection with Epstein. She was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment on 28 June 2022.
However, the clients who may have procured a child for prostitution have faced no repercussions so far. Although a book containing a list of suspected clients has been found it was not put to any good use.
