Israel Adesanya Believes It Is Possible To “Make $100 Million In The UFC”
An undefeated UFC 185-pound interim champ Israel Adesanya will square off against the middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in a title unification bout tonight. The bout will take place inside Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
If Israel Adesanya defeats Whittaker, he’ll probably become one of the greatest stars in the history of this sport. His perfect MMA score is 17 wins and 0 losses. In the UFC, “The Last Stylebender” outlasted or stopped six fighters. His greatest victories are the ones over Kelvin Gastelum and Anderson Silva.
Adesanya definitively dreams of becoming a star one day. In his recent interview, the dangerous striker said it was possible to earn $100 million dollars in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. And Israel believes he has what it takes to fulfill this goal! (h/t MMAFighitng)
“I’ll make that purse in MMA, guaranteed. I’ll make that purse in the UFC,” Israel Adesanya told MMA Fighting. “You can make $100 million in the UFC. You don’t have to go to boxing. Only Mayweather is going to make that. Only McGregor is going to make that, when he fought Mayweather, so that’s the Mayweather effect.
“That’s going to happen in the UFC. I guarantee you. I might be the first to do it in the UFC.”
With a win over Robert Whittaker tonight, Adesanya will probably secure better paydays in the future. But $100 million sounds… unreal… or not?
