UFC’s official surgeon revealed Irene Aldana’s nasty face cut following her bloody fight with Norma Dumont at UFC 306.

Irene suffered one of the scariest cuts in UFC history

Aldana and Dumont did not fail to deliver an epic showdown in their prelims headliner bout at UFC 306. However, it was Aldana who suffered not only a tough decision loss but also a nasty cut on her face.

Before being taken to a local hospital in Las Vegas, the 36-year-old had to be treated by the UFC’s Consultant Surgeon, Dr. Greg Hsu, who released a pre and post status of Aldana’s gruesome cut.

Hsu was in awe of Aldana’s courage and was even prompted to write a little tribute to the Mexican fighter.

Irene was admired by her fans

The horrible cut kept bleeding during the fight but Aldana refused to surrender and force the fight to distance with “The Immortal.” Despite the defeat, Aldana was admired by many UFC fans for displaying her physical and mental toughness.
