- Ian Garry took the opportunity to lash out at Sean Strickland over their past feud
- “Future” threatened “Tarzan” to never involve him and his wife in his childhood trauma
Ian Garry is accusing Sean Strickland of being a hypocrite for pretending to be nice to him and warned the UFC middleweight champ about the repercussions of projecting his childhood trauma to him and his wife again.
The tables have turned
It can be recalled that Strickland insulted Garry for having a “succubus” partner. The pair unsurprisingly engaged in a verbal war and developed a feud. Dricus du Plessis, meanwhile, made some foul comments about Strickland’s childhood trauma at the hands of his abusive father which ultimately led to an ugly brawl at UFC 296.
Now, Garry joined Du Plessis in taking shots at “Tarzan” over the issue. In a comment on a social media post about Strickland’s trauma, “Future” hit out at the middleweight champ with a firm warning.
“How the tables have turned, you dish it out in the lowest most vile manner but can’t take a pinch, you attacked my wife incessantly and obsessively calling her a peadofile, it’s clear to see your childhood trama showing. You claimed you were ‘giving me advice’ before, well now it’s my turn to return the favour. You should shut your mouth 🤐 and focus on the mirror because you have enough serious issues you need to solve. I wish you all the best with them. Don’t ever project your pain onto me & family again. Happy New Year 🥳😘,” Garry wrote.

Strickland already gave Ian the green light
In a wild twist of fate, Strickland and Garry crossed paths at the UFC PI. The two had an intense encounter but were fortunately stopped by security before something nasty took place.
According to “Tarzan,” he has no intentions of fighting Garry but if “Future” would insist, then he’d be more than happy to give it to him.
Surely, this won’t be the first and last encounter of Strickland and Garry. Until then, fans could expect the pair to trade shots on social media and interviews.
