- Sean Strickland called out Ian Garry for having an older wife
- “The Future” told “Tarzan” to stop as he would not hesitate to sue him
Sean Strickland blasted Ian Garry for having a wife who is about 14 years older than him out of nowhere. Garry did not let it slide and told the UFC middleweight champion that he is considering taking legal action.
It’s not fair
In typical Strickland fashion, “Tarzan” threw shade at Garry for allegedly taking the last name of his wife’s ex-partner. Strickland also upped the ante by alleging Garry’s wife wrote a book about “how to be a WAG” and even referred to her as a “succubus.”
“Guys, I never talk about anybody’s spouses but this sh*t ain’t right. It ain’t f**king right. I got to talk about it. Ian Garry, I remember when I met you dude, it was in New York. You were with this fine a** girl, she had the little nipple coverings. We all f**king seen it right, everybody f**king seen it but I remember thinking to myself, there ain’t something right about that girl. There’s something about that woman that ain’t f**king right,” Strickland said in a video.
“The way she walked, the way she looked, the way she talked, I knew it. Now I’m finding out you’re 26, she’s f**king 40. The ex f**king husband lives with you, you took the last name. Motherf**ker, she wrote a book on how to be a WAG, I didn’t know what a WAG was until now dude. This sh*t ain’t right dude, she’s a succubus,” he continued.
“You got to run away bro. Hot girls are a dime a dozen, we’ll get your ring girls, we’ll get you two at the same time bro. You got to pull the rip cord man, it ain’t f**king right my friend. You got to pull that f**king rip cord, I’m here for you, the MMA community is here for you to do the right thing Ian Garry,” he added.

Hours later, Strickland revealed what Garry said to him in a screenshot. In it, “The Future” could be seen telling Strickland that he is planning to sue him for harassment and defamation. As expected, “Tarzan” refused to tone down.

Strickland also addressed the issue in another video and reiterated that he would’ve respected Garry had he just hit back with a savage reply instead of a legal threat.

It is yet to be known how things would play out between Strickland and Garry. What’s certain at this point is that “Tarzan” is already booked for his first title defense against Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297. On the other hand, Garry is on a six-fight winning streak. His latest victory was a decision win over Neil Magny at UFC 292.
