Herschel Walker earned $600 in his Strikeforce debut

When we found out that Herschel Walker was donating his entire purse to charity, we just thought it made him even more like a messiah. Herschel even went on a multi-city press tour telling multiple sources that he’s not going to keep a penny of his fight winnings because he’s doing this out of love for the sport and besides, the folks over at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship could really use the money. It seems like his nobility is simply endless.

Today, MMAmania.com has published Strikeforce salaries and revealed that Heschel Walker will be donating a whopping $600 to charity. I actually used to work in finance, so let me break it down for you to show you how we came up with that number.

Contracted Salary = $600.00
Fight win bonus = $0.00

Total = $600.00

Thanks to Showtime and Herschel Walker’s generosity, the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship is now filthy rich. They can afford a Steiner Collectable autographed Jersey of Herschal Walker to frame and mount in their corporate office.

No comment has been made whether or not $275 of that money will go to printing one of those jumbo checks so that they can present the remaining $325 during a televised event to promote Herschel’s next entrepreneurial adventure. [Source]
