- Henry Cejudo pointed out what Jiri Prochazka should be ready for against Alex Pereira at UFC 295
- “Triple C” explained how “Poatan” utilizes his leg kicks to finish his opponents
Henry Cejudo has laid out the things in Alex Pereira’s arsenal that Jiri Prochazka should watch out for in their title fight at UFC 295.
The left hook and the leg kicks
Speaking on his YouTube channel, “Triple C” broke down the strengths and weaknesses of both light heavyweights. However, Cejudo put emphasis on Pereira’s lethal left hook and leg kicks that he uses to set up his knockout punch.
“His strengths, obviously it’s striking but in particularly his damn leg kicks. Those leg kicks man, when you get somebody that has leg kicks like that like it sucks. The reason why I started kicking because once you know what it feels like to get hit in that certain part where there’s not a lot of fat andthere’s a lot of bone, you have to attack it and he does a really really good job from being a two-time Glory World Champ to now chasing for his next title in the UFC,” Cejudo assessed.
“He’s got punch out power and particularly his left hook, his left hook is nasty. It really is man, it’ll makesomebody wake up and be like, ‘Is it Christmas yet?’ And we’re talking about a July. I mean this is the type of power that this dude has,” he continued.
“The left hook may finish you but for him to break that foundation, he’s going to kick those legs,” he added.
Jiri is not worried
As a former light heavyweight champion, Prochazka is understandably not bothered by Pereira’s resume. In fact, “BJP” doesn’t respect Pereira’s overall MMA skills.
Pereira is coming in looking to add another UFC title to his name. On the other hand, Prochazka will be hoping to reclaim his throne. The pair will fight for the vacant light heavyweight title in the main event of UFC 295 this weekend.
