Henry Cejudo laments the untimely death of his sister, Gloria

Former UFC champ-champ Henry Cejudo is saddened by the untimely passing of his sister Gloria Nelly Cejudo. After breaking the news on social media, Cejudo received a bunch of condolences from UFC stars and legends.
Henry says farewell to his “second mom”
On Instagram, “Triple C” opened up and paid tribute to Gloria, whom he considered as his “second mom.” Henry revealed in the post that his sister had been battling cancer for the past two years.
“My older sister has been battling cancer for the last two years. I’ve never seen someone fight for their life like her. She played so many roles in my life including being my second mom. The most selfless person I have ever met. Thank you for teaching me about unconditional love. No more pain and suffering, rejoice with our Heavenly Father. Have those peaches in heaven you always wanted. Te amo y te quiero mucho mi hermana linda. Como te extraño. See you soon hermana ❤️ Gloria Nelly Cejudo,” Henry wrote.
Henry’s UFC family got his back
As most MMA fans know, Cejudo isn’t the most likeable fighter in the MMA world. However, that didn’t mean “Triple C” would run short in support from his UFC family. In fact, condolences from UFC legends such as Michael Bisping and Bruce Buffer poured in for him in the comment section.
“I really am so sorry brother. She looks like she was a beautiful soul. My sincere condolences to all of your family,” Bisping wrote.
“Sorry for your loss Henry 🙏Sincere best wishes & condolences to you & your family. May she rest in peace 🙏,” Buffer commented.
“So sorry Henry❤️,” Joanna Jedrzejczyk wrote.
“My deepest condolences, Henry. 🙏🏼,” Jon Anik said.
“Sending my love. May she rest in peace,” Michelle Waterson wrote.
Henry also received a condolence from reigning UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, whom he was linked to a fight with in the past.
“Sorry to hear brother. Condolences to you and the family 🙏,” Volk wrote.
Cejudo successfully made a UFC return after three years of being inactive. Unfortunately, he failed to reclaim his bantamweight title after losing to then-135-pound king Aljamain Sterling at UFC 288.
