Former UFC heavyweight Greg Hardy is ready to make his BKFC debut in February.
When the UFC signed former NFL star Greg Hardy back in 2019 it was a bit controversial. Hardy has a history of domestic violence and at the time had little MMA experience. After two appearances on the Dana White Contender Series, he was signed to a deal and made his debut. Fans either loved him or hated him, but quickly he proved that he was capable of having success in the cage although not for long. He lost his promotional debut and then won the first two both by KO.
After a string of wins and losses, ending in three straight losses, Hardy was released from the UFC, now he is signed to fight in bare-knuckle boxing with BKFC and will be making his debut next month.
Greg Hardy will be featured on the Bare Knuckle FC: KnuckleMania 3 card
Hardy will be fighting on the Bare Knuckle FC: KnuckleMania 3 card taking place on Feb. 17 at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, NM. He will be matched with Josh Watson per BKFC president Dave Feldman. Feldman made the announcement at the KnuckleMania 3 pre-fight press conference on Thursday.
The card will feature some of the biggest names in the organization including another former UFC fighter, Diego Sanchez who will also be making his BKFC debut that night, and John Dodson.
In addition to his UFC career, Hardy also has had two professional boxing matches. He defeated Mike Cook in October, and then beat Hasim Rahman Jr. in November.
