Greg Hardy suffers a KO loss to Alexander Flores at Team Combat League Boxing.

Greg Hardy’s combat sports career continues to head in a downward spiral. The former UFC fighter has tried several different fight promotions since leaving the organization and so far has found little success. Now Hardy has once again suffered a loss, this time for the boxing organization called Team Combat League Boxing.

When the UFC signed former NFL star Greg Hardy back in 2019 it was considered to be a bit controversial. Hardy has a history of domestic violence and at the time had little MMA experience. He appeared on the Dana White Contender Series twice where he was signed to a deal and made his debut. He lost his promotional debut and then won the next two bouts by KO. After a string of wins and losses, ending in three straight losses, Hardy was released from the UFC and later signed on to a bare-knuckle boxing bout with BKFC. He lost his only BKFC fight in February and is now on to Team Combat League Boxing.

The Team Combat League Boxing format is very strange. It is a team setup where there are six teams in the league, each consisting of 18 fighters across six different weight classes. The matches are 18 rounds and each fighter on the team fights for only one-three minute round. Although Hardy was fighting in the 17th round when he was knocked out, it was in fact his first round of fighting.

Hardy was fighting for the Dallas Enforcers on Friday night but lost his round via KO to Alexander Flores from the LA Tengoose. The bout took place in Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. Hardy has now lost five bouts in the last three years, all in different combat sports and all by KO or TKO.
