The co-headliner has arrived.
Scotland’s Joanne Wood collides with Mexico’s Alexa Grasso at UFC Columbus.
Round 1:
Grasso gets Wood to the ground quite quickly. Wood lands little punches from her back with Grasso continuing to control. Both women lands punches on the ground. Grasso lets Wood back up to her feet. The two trade like it’s a Muay Thai match. Wood lands a front kick then an spinning elbow. Upon that move, Grasso gets a takedown on Wood with ease. The Mexican fighter seizes the back of Wood and goes for a rear-naked choke.
Wood fights the hands but is no match for the squeeze of Grasso. After a few seconds, Grasso chokes out Wood.
