Further evidence that Germany hasn't quite perfected the art of a takedown in MMA

There’s a place called Hofbräuhaus in Las Vegas that Ben Fowlkes and I always hit up just a couple days before a UFC event. If Germany is anything like that restaurant, then the country is filled with overpriced beers, annoying bands and scantily clad chicks that have an obsession with spanking men with wooden planks. When I lived in the UK, my roommate was from Frankfurt, Germany. He taught me how to open a beer bottle with my eye socket. It’s a pretty silly trick that I’ve never done twice for fear of losing my ability to perceive depth for the rest of my life.

Bellator’s Jonas Billstein actually fights out of Cologne, Germany. Therefore his knowledge about the country far surpasses my own. However, judging by what went down at Bellator 81, Germany hasn’t quite perfected the art of a takedown in MMA. Check out the clip below to find out more.
