Frankie Edgar-‘Korean Zombie’ To Headline UFC Denver, Donald Cerrone-Mike Perry Also Added

A Pair Of Intriguing Bouts Confirmed For UFC Fight Night 139 On Nov. 10

Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Chan Sung Jung, known as “Korean Zombie, to headline the UFC Denver later this year, ESPN reported on Friday. BJPenn first reported the news. According to Brett Okamoto, a welterweight showdown between Donald Cerrone and Mike Perry also booked for November 10.

Edgar suffered a first knockout loss over undefeated featherweight contender Brian Ortega at UFC 222 back in March but came back in winning column after picking a unanimous decision win in a rematch over Cub Swanson at UFC Atlantic City a month later. A win over Jung can put Edgar on a title shot position.

Koran Zombie has competed since scoring a first-round KO win over Dennis Bermudez back in February 2017.

Donald Cerrone suffered a decision loss to Leon Edwards in the UFC Fight Night 132 headliner last month. Before that Cerrone defeated Yancy Medeiros via TKO is now, now 1-4 in his previous five outings dating back to early 2017.

Perry is coming off a decision win over Paul Felder, at UFC 226 earlier this month, that win to snap his two-fight skid.

UFC Fight Night 139 is set to take place at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado on Nov. 10.
