Mixed martial artist Łukasz Klos scored one of the fastest head-kick knockouts of all time in his second career fight.
Fighting under the Carpathian Warriors banner in Rzeszów, Poland, Klos met 5-2 fighter Paweł Podkański. The 141lb catchweight bout was scheduled for three five-minute rounds, but Klos would only need a fraction of that time to deliver a spectacular walk-off knockout. Just seconds after the two fighters touched gloves, Klos unleashed a high left kick that connected clean, immediately turning Podkański’s lights out. It was a perfect win for Klos who was coming off a loss in his MMA debut against Dmytro Topal this past May.
Podkański entered the bout with a significant experience advantage, having seven fights under his belt. With the quick loss to Łukasz Klos, Podkański dropped to 5-3 in his career.
Carpathian Warriors has been active since running their first event in 2017, featuring some of Eastern Europe’s top talent.
