Jorge Masvidal may have won the UFC’s “BMF” title. However, Paul Felder unofficially reps the role as a dependable fighter who never turns down a fight. Willing to fight anybody, Paul is stepping up once again. This time, Felder will face Rafael Dos Anjos on 5 days’ notice in a 5 round main event fight.
Paul Felder is becoming a staple in the UFC’s lightweight division. As well as, an overall presence in the company itself. Luckily for MMA fans, “The Irish Dragon” will be sticking around an extended period of time to provide much more exciting toe to toe bouts. Although Paul has had a heavy presence in the commentary booth, he’s made it known that he will take on anybody at any time. And, he doesn’t just say it, he signs the contract when presented.
Felder vs Dos Anjos
Rafael Dos Anjos was originally slated to face Islam Makhachev in a main event lightweight bout. However, Islam was diagnosed with a staph infection that forced him off of the card. RDA still wanted to fight and called out a host of opponents including the UFC’s newest marquee signing in Michael Chandler. Reports led to Chandler declining the bout, which made room for Felder to sneak in and accept the fight.
Per UFC officials, none other than Paul Felder (@felderpaul) is stepping in on FIVE DAYS notice to fight Rafael dos Anjos. STILL a five round fight. STILL 155 pounds. Wow.
