Fedor’s Brother Aleksander Emelianenko Knocks Out Gerônimo Dos Santos

Aleksander has always been the evil brother of the Emelianenkos.

Back in 2012, Aleksander Emelianenko got piss drunk on an airplane and got into a massive fight mid-flight. It was so bad he was fired by M1 Global afterward. Or he retired from MMA, whichever version you prefer. Afterward it seemed like Aleksander was going the monk route, living in some mountain monastery, but that didn’t stick and after a few months, he announced a return to MMA.

Following that up in 2013, Aleksander Emelianenko was supposed to headline a Siberian MMA card, but decided he’d rather not. He refused to train, got constantly drunk, and wouldn’t even show up for medicals. The entire city ended up banning him. He would follow that up by getting arrested for beating up an elderly man in a bar, but he eventually paid off his victim to skip out on jail.

Then, in his final fall from grace, he was arrested in 2015 for raping his housekeeper and stealing her passport. He was supposed to go to jail for four and a half years, but Russia being Russia, and sex crimes being basically ignored across the globe, authorities thought he had served enough.

Which brings us to this past weekend, and “The Red Devil” returning to the cage. Who would they ever find for such a monumental event? Enter the legendary “Mondragon”.

Geronimo Dos Santos (39-20) has been working the Russian & Asian MMA scenes for over a decade. Consistently looking scary as fuck, but never looking especially dangerous against anyone of note. And after three stoppage losses in the year, he looked like the ideal candidate for Aleksander’s return fight.

Check out Ramzan Kadyrov having a grand old time. That blood thirsty dictator sure doesn’t miss a beat. Look at any horrible thing happening in MMA and it’s no less than seven degrees of separation between it and that man.
