If you take a shot at Dustin Poirier’s wife, he’s likely to slap the sh*t out of you.
One fan learned that firsthand over the weekend at the Youngsville Mardi Gras parade when he brandished a handmade sign that read, “Hey Dustin, your wife’s in my DMs.” The individual flashed it at Poirier as his vehicle was slowly passing by as part of the festivities. In the video, which you can see below, ‘The Diamond’ drew the man in by feigning a high-five before cocking back and delivering a slap good enough to make Dana White build an entire reality series around it.

The “Your wife is in my DMs” insult became a social media sensation after Conor McGregor yelled the false accusation at Poirier moments after breaking his leg in their trilogy bout at UFC 264. Prior to their meeting inside the Octagon, ‘The Notorious’ had notoriously claimed that Poirier’s wife Jolie had a crush on him and had crept into his DM’s at some point.
McGregor didn’t stop there, tweeting and then deleting more threats aimed at Poirier and, disturbingly, his young daughter.

‘The Diamond’ was understandably upset with McGregor attempting to drag his family into their feud, and based on his response to a sign making light of the accusation, Poirier is still far from cool with it.
