The Young 25-year-old Is Living The Life Of An MMA Superstar!

Dillon “El Jefe” Danis doesn’t have much of a fight record (1-0) but he’s still managed to gain massive popularity as a big MMA figure or “Icon” as he calls himself on Instagram, where has 784,000 followers. Danis formed a virtual friendship with the Irish MMA legend and even asked the latter if he could come to Ireland to train with him.

Well, now he’s got larger than life training partner and friend in Conor McGregor which he’s taking full advantage of. But Danis is an impressive grappler and he’s currently training to progress his MMA career in the Bellator fighting organization to become a big name in the middleweight division.

Danis spoke with the New York Times where he expressed how thrilled he is to be able to have a friendship with Conor McGregor.

“He’s like a big brother to me,” he explained. “It’s like getting to watch Muhammad Ali every day. “He teaches me that the things you say… are important.”

But, the New Jersey native’s friendship with “Notorious” has gotten him into a little trouble and he loves every minute of it. Danis was involved in the post-fight brawl last year when Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Conor McGregor, and then jumped the fence to attack McGregor’s corner.

But, Khabib apparently attacked Danis after someone said he called the “Russian” fighter a “f - - king Muslim rat” of which he denied. Danis said he hit Khabib a couple of times and described the scuffle as “really fun”.

And Danis isn’t shy when it comes to bragging about his lavish lifestyle, even coming as a little self-centered…

“I get a lot of money for just one post (Instagram), more than most people would make in six months,” he told the NY Times. “I am very smart and plugged into the game.”

Davis’ first fight took place last year in August where he defeated Kyle Walker via submission and now he’s preparing for a fight against Max Humphrey on June 14 at Madison Square Garden in New York. He described Humphrey as…

“just someone who has to get taken out so I can achieve my dreams. He’s just a sacrificial lamb for me.”

It seems Dillon Danis is living the life right now alongside the iconic Conor McGregor. But, he’ll have to prove he can back up his words if he’s to remain, someone, to be taken seriously.
