Russia’s miltary invasion is taking a toll on the people of Ukraine. That includes UFC fighter Denys Bondar.

Bondar Loses His Home & Gym

The UFC Flyweight fights out of Kharkiv, Ukraine. However, that may soon change due to recent developments. His home city would fall victim to Russia’s continued bombings just a week into the invasion.

Bombshells would take out both Bondar’s home, as well as his gym over at ‘Kharkov Top Team’.

They Made It Out Okay

Luckily, Bondar and his family would make it out alive, according to his manager (via Jeff Novitsky). Without a home or gym to go back to, it will definitely be a tough road from here on out for the 29 year-old.

‘Psycho’ made his UFC debut just a month ago at UFC Vegas 47. Unfortunately for him, he’d suffer a gnarly arm injury early into the fight.

The action would stop at 1:22 in round 1, with his opponent Malcolm Gordon getting the win by TKO (verbal submission). This loss would snap an impressive 8-fight winning streak, dating back all the way to 2018.
