Dana White has offered Tyson Fury an opportunity to fight Jon Jones in the UFC.

One of the most discussed debates of the past week has been about what would happen in a street fight between Fury and Jones. The argument started when Joe Rogan claimed that ‘Bones’ would easily beat up the heavyweight boxing champion, leading to the latter posting an expletive-filled rant on Instagram.

Once Jones addressed the situation, Fury took back most of what he said and challenged the UFC heavyweight champion to a boxing match. During a recent interview with BroBible, White was asked about the debate and had this to say:

“Jon Jones is the baddest dude on the planet, there’s no debate, there’s no denying it. There’s no debate. I don’t care what anyone says, everybody can try to spin it, a lot of this stuff is clickbait. You know how I am. If Tyson Fury really wants to fight Jon Jones in the UFC, I will make it happen. Tyson, if you’re serious, let me know. Tyson and I have a good relationship, I like Tyson Fury… Let’s find out. We can talk all we want. Tyson can talk, Jon Jones can talk, I can talk, we can all talk, let’s do it.”

Dana White references Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor while discussing Jon Jones vs. Tyson Fury

Dana White would have to organize a massive deal for Tyson Fury to enter the Octagon. With that said, White has experience pulling off unexpected super-fights, including his association in the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing match, which generated over four million pay-per-view sales.

During the same interview with BroBible, White referenced Mayweather vs. McGregor by saying:

“If Tyson is serious and he wants to do it, I got Floyd Mayweather to fight. We paid Floyd and got him the number he wanted. If Tyson Fury is serious and he wants to fight Jon Jones in the UFC, let’s start talking.”

Fury last fought in December 2022, defeating Derek Chisora to defend his WBC heavyweight world championship. Since then, ‘The Gypsy King’ has struggled to make a deal for his next fight, leading to frustration from the fans.

Meanwhile, Jon Jones is coming off a shocking first-round submission win against Ciryl Gane for the UFC heavyweight championship. ‘Bones’ is expected to defend his throne for the first time against Stipe Miocic later this year.
