Dana White says Brock Lesnar could be out of the UFC forever

Yesterday at the pre-fight presser, Frank Mir said he was obsessed with getting a rematch with Brock Lesnar. Mir has to get in line because Brock is on his 813th round with diverticulitis. Yeah, diverticulitis sounds like sub-race of Klingons but it’s actually a debilitating disease that forced Brock Lesnar’s intestine leak into his stomach. As you read this snugged up on your sofa (or really, really uncomfortable office chair), Brock Lesnar is walking around Minnesota with a hole in his intestine. That’s hardcore. Yesterday, Dana White said Brock may need another surgery and that he could be out of the UFC forever.

“They figured it out, so the question now is, he’s either going to need major surgery or he’s not and we won’t know for the next couple months”

Some Sherdogian asked about the Brock Lesnar’s timetable to return to the UFC, Dana White depressed us all with the news that:

It could be forever, we won’t know for the next couple months, Obviously, I’m hoping that’s not the case, as I’m sure all of you are, but we’ll see what happens.”

If everything went as planned, Shane Carwin vs. Brock Lesnar should have gone down at UFC 106 and [insert name here] would still be having a celebration parade in [insert corresponding city name here] and all would be good with the UFC Heavyweight division. But as we know, this is not the case…just ask the UFC Heavyweight Interim Belt. [Source
