Dana White responds to Tim Sylvia’s YouTube plea to return to the UFC

Dana White often has a way with words that politicians envy. Imagine if a political debate could be trimmed down to a series of four letter words that clearly identified how they really felt about the issues that concern our economy, taxation, and military intervention. While it might cost them votes in the grand scheme of things, I, for one, would applaud their honesty and integrity for speaking their minds — instead of ‘pussyfooting’ around the topics with politically correct nonsense that does little to satisfy the debate at hand. I’ve always waned to use the word ‘pussyfooting’ in an article.

Earlier this week, Tim Sylvia took to YouTube, pleading with fans to help him get re-instated into the UFC because he felt that he could beat 80% of the guys in the division. Since his 8-second KO loss to Ray Mercer, the former UFC heavyweight champion has gone on to build a 6-1 record between heavyweight and super-heavyweight fights. He has returned to 265lbs and really wants to end his MMA career where he built a name for himself. According to MMA Junkie, Dana issued this brief response earlier today:

“No”

There you have it folks. That’s pretty much everything that Dana has to say about that. Nobody knows how Tim Sylvia would actually perform against some of the best heavyweights in today’s UFC hardest hitting division, and chances are, we never will. I regret to inform the MMA community that you have let down Tim Sylvia, but he’s thankful of your efforts nonetheless.
