Dana White Isn’t In A Hurry To Get Nate Diaz Back Inside The Octagon

Dana White: “We Probably Offered Nate Diaz 50 Fights, He’ll Let Us Know When He Is Ready”

Dana White and Nate Diaz are two guys who definitively can’t make a deal. They have had so many disagreements since Nate’s last fight versus Conor McGregor at UFC 202 on August 21, 2016.

Dana White constantly repeats that UFC offered Nate Diaz so many fights but he is turning them down over and over. Not to mention how many times Nate called Dana White on social media. But “lying thirsty bitch” Dana White became known for ignoring “The Stockton Slugger”. The war between these two is still on.

Dana White said that he doesn’t care about offering Nate Diaz a match until he really wants to fight. He believes “The Stockton Slugger” will inform UFC when he is ready for a showdown. (via MMAMania.com)

“I’m not interested in making a Nate Diaz fight until Diaz is just dying to fight,” White told ESPN. “We’ll offer him fights, we always offer him fights. We probably offered this kid 50 fights since he fought Conor. When he’s ready to fight, he’ll let us know.”

Nate Diaz was slated for the co-main event of UFC 230 versus Dustin Poirier. But he started coming up with the excuses. Let’s remembered what happened at the UFC 25th anniversary press conference. Nate stormed out of the conference room after Khabib Nurmagomedov Vs Conor McGregor was officially set for UFC 229 main event! And he added he “won’t be fighting on that show”, “rewarding” UFC with a barrage of insults.

Yet, Dana White says Nate Diaz has changed a lot. According to White, as soon as the fight was set, Nate started making drama.

“He wanted a fight, we made a fight, we announced the fight, immediately he starts saying he’s not fighting,” White said. “We had a guy here in the company that was a big Nate Diaz fan, a big Nick Diaz fan and wanted to work with them. He’s not as enthusiastic as he used to be.”

Unfortunately, Dustin Poirier had to pull back from UFC 230 showdown due to an injury. It looks like Dana White was thrilled by this since Nate Diaz was removed from the fight card too! Dana White is also not interested in booking Diaz Vs Poirier again!

What are your thoughts on this confrontation? Is there a chance these two will stop throwing sh*t at each other anytime soon? Do you believe Nate Diaz will fight in 2019? Maybe we can expect another “165-pound superfighter devision title shot“.
