As far as UFC President Dana White is concerned, Henry Cejudo is still retired.

Cejudo announced that he’d be walking away from pro MMA competition following a successful UFC Bantamweight Title defense against Dominick Cruz. Since retiring back in May 2020, Cejudo has constantly teased making a return. He’s taken aim at just about everyone, including Conor McGregor.

Dana White On Henry Cejudo Calling Out Conor McGregor

Henry Cejudo recently called out McGregor and said he’d even be willing to do the fight at lightweight. Here’s what he said on The Triple C & Schmo show.

“I’d like to see him dance with me, quite honestly. He went from ‘145 to ‘170. Why don’t you give me that same opportunity? I can go from ‘135 from ‘125 all the way to ‘155, no problem. So, that’s who I would like to see next. I want that fight. I talk a lot of stuff, we smack talk a lot of stuff to each other, it gets personal between us. Give me the opportunity, give me the shot.”

During an interview with TMZ Sports, Dana White made it clear that he wants nothing to do with a McGregor vs. Cejudo matchup.

“No. Cejudo retired. You know Cejudo knows what he needs to do to get back in and get whatever. Talking s**t on Instagram does not get you fights.”

Cejudo recently announced that he re-entered the USADA testing pool. This was confirmation after Ali Abdelaziz first broke the news to MMAFighting.com. Stick with Middle Easy for the latest fight news on Henry Cejudo.
