UFC Head Honcho Dana White Says Mcgregor’s Whiskey Launch Has Been A Tremendous Success And That Could Make Him Billionaire

At UFC 229, Conor Mcgregor will make a purse that could creep up to $50 million moreover he’ll also make tons of money in endorsements as well.

He’s a global star and one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, currently ranked No. 2 in the UFC ratings. Mcgregor is a UFC’s cash cow and one of the top individual pay-per-view sellers of all time.

After his boxing spectacle with pugilist Floyd Mayweather Jr., which saw McGregor TKO’d in the 10th round after putting on an impressive performance at Las Vegas, Irishman earned a massive $99 million. That’s like  $85 million in salaries and $14 million in the sponsorships.

According to Forbes, Mcgregor makes it to the top five highest paid athlete in the world on their 2018 list.

According to UFC president, Dana White UFC 229 is trending between 2.5 to 3 million PPV buys and off course Irishman will make a hell lot of money based off PPV sales. (Via MMAMania)

”We’re trending between 2.6 and 3 million [PPV buys],” White told TMZ Sports before suggesting the numbers could be even higher. “But everything is trending, killing Mayweather vs. McGregor in numbers. Let me just give you one small example. UFC Embedded, the first episode with Mayweather and McGregor did 800,000 views in 24 hours. This one did 1.7 million in 24 hours. All the numbers like that are just double what we did on MayMac. What does that mean for pay-per-view? I don’t know, we’re going to find out.”

With a massive fight looming around the corner, it didn’t stop Mcgregor to take care of business. Last month Conor Mcgregor announced the arrival of Proper No. Twelve, whiskey, it’s produced by his own company, Eire Born Spirits.

Mcgregor who recently signed a six-fight deal with a promotion and his newly released whiskey is getting a promotional spot on the canvas. White said, his proper twelve has been already a massive success that could make him a filthy rich.

”The last thing he needs to worry about is his check,” White said. “The whiskey thing is probably going to make this kid a billion dollars. They can’t keep his Proper 12 whiskey, they can’t keep it off the shelves. It’s flying off the shelves. All the casinos around here are not only serving it, selling it. He’s killing it and good for him.”

Do you think his brand will make him a billionaire?
