After winning UFC title in 2016, Conor McGregor bragged about his success a lot. But since 2017, there was no a Lightweight Title fight at all, and this throws dust onto a division with so many world-class fighters.

Only a few hours after Dana White mentioned stripping “The Notorious” of the title, Conor McGregor claimed he will be fighting again, but he didn’t specify the date. There were many uneven fights this year, and Conor’s presence would definitively decrease the differences among the fighters.

There is additional excitement due to UFC 223 fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. And both of these fighters were ignoring Conor last month, but they surely have hidden intentions of retaking Conor’s belt and earning his payday. Does Conor McGregor really want to waste all that money and glory?

McGregor was offered to face Frankie Edgar, who is currently No.2 contender, but after a few days, Edgar’s manager Ali Abdelaziz announced that Conor McGregor doesn’t want to cut that much weight. The Notorious said no one more time.

Conor McGregor is one of the rare fighters to compete in three weight divisions – welterweight, lightweight, and featherweight. With a 25-pound swing, he might even pick Nate Diaz trilogy. Who will be his next opponent?

Conor McGregor can choose who will he fight with, and which way is he going to go. He could also challenge Max Holloway for a Featherweight Title Shot. Maybe Conor is waiting for Nurmagomedov-Ferguson winner? However, McGregor vs Diaz 3 would draw so much crowd – both fighters are extremely well-known by trash talk.

So, what do you think, which way is Conor McGregor going to go? The most probable scenario is skipping the fight with Nate. The Irish superstar wants something really big, and that would be a lightweight belt. Is he going to crush Khabib Nurmagomedov’s record, if he remains undefeated against Tony Ferguson?

One thing is certain, McGregor and Nurmagomedov were seriously throwing jabs at each other on social media. What do you think, how much would Conor McGregor brag if he defeats Khabib Nurmagomedov in a title fight? McGregor has one more option – chasing Tyron Woodley.

The Irish superstar is on his way back, and you can expect a lot of trash talk, aggressive statements, and a serious marketing campaign. What do you think, who is The Notorious’ next rival?
