Traditionally, the faceoffs between coaches occur towards the end of filming when the finalists for the show have been selected. At this point, the coaches would step into the cage and square off before their ultimate showdown. Presently, McGregor and Chandler are scheduled to battle it out later this year, however, the exact date and location remain unknown. Mcgregor expects their fight to happen at 170 pounds, but the UFC hasn’t made any official announcements about the matchup, including the weight class.

The filming for the reality show ended recently after a brief production schedule. Conor McGregor coached for the second time after competing against Urijah Faber in season 22 of The Ultimate Fighter. This will mark Chandler’s coaching debut in the show, as he recently joined the UFC roster after a long stint in Bellator MMA.

TUF 31 will have a cast of lightweights and bantamweights, featuring both UFC veterans and rookies.
