Conor McGregor Fires Back At Liver King Comparisons

McGregor has been out-of-action for several months since his leg break in his last Octagon outing against Dustin Poirier.

During that time away, McGregor has been using his recovery period to add some mass to his frame.

Frequently posting on social media to update fans on the status of his physique, McGregor has been adding quite a bit of muscle to his build.

One fan took to Twitter to respond to McGregor, saying, at this point, he’s trying to be like the Liver King.

McGregor didn’t appreciate this comment, responding with the following:

“Who? I eat the liver with shots not forks. Ball of the foot, heel of the foot, fist, elbow, you name it. Even the butt of the head on the sly I dig them in.

“Production sees nothin till highlights, and even then only the next day. Motherfucker I destroy liver. I’m King, period.”

This doesn’t come as a surprise, as both men have also been facing accusations of steroid use. Liver King maintains that he does not take steroids and is a natural athlete. The majority of the population, however, doubts the claim and does not believe it. Joe Rogan, a UFC commentator and podcast host, is also included in the majority.

Additionally, Rogan said he is not doubting the liver king’s healthy habits or his diet of nutrient-rich foods. In spite of this, the podcaster notes that he does not talk about using any extra help.

Of course, both men have since denied these accusations, but McGregor’s situation is a bit different.

Members of the UFC roster are regularly tested by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), however, McGregor has not been tested in quite some time.

Despite the accusations, McGregor seems adamant on working towards a return to the Octagon.
