Liver King got into an eating competition with Paulo Costa and Patricio Freire at the weigh-ins for tomorrow’s Bellator 286.

The fitness influencer first gained notoriety online with his insane physique. He went viral for promoting a natural lifestyle based on the nine tenets and videos of him consuming raw meat made rounds on the internet. King has lately been getting more involved in the MMA community, gaining attention for his back-and-forth with former UFC middleweight title challenger Costa earlier this month.

While some are fully onboard with King’s philosophy, others believe he’s putting on a gimmick to get more popular. He was recently in attendance for an episode of Dana White’s Contender Series at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Costa fired shots at him and challenged him to something he did not disclose.

During the Friday weigh-ins for Bellator 286, Costa and King got the chance to settle their disputes by competing in an eating contest. As expected, King brought out a ton of liver for both of them to feast on and see who eats more. Card headliner Freire was also at the table but could not pose much of a threat to the aptly named Liver King.

“Are you drinking that (blood)?” asked Paulo.

“C’mon, Patricky! You can do it,” yelled an attendee.

Paulo Costa can be seen in the video drinking his signature ‘secret juice’ to push down the raw meat. His plate looks full with fewer pieces of liver consumed, whereas King is wolfing down the small cuts of the meat quickly without much effort.

After avenging his loss to AJ McKee in April, Freire will take on rising Hungarian prospect Adam Borics for the Bellator featherweight title in the main event of Saturday’s Bellator 286.
