Colby Covington Rips Into Fabricio Werdum For Failed USADA Test

Brash UFC welterweight Colby Covington has made quite a few enemies due to his trash talking. One of Colby’s biggest enemies failed a USADA drug test on Tuesday, and Covington naturally seized the opportunity to kick him while he’s down.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabrício Werdum was notified of his failed USADA test on Tuesday, just days after the UFC announced he would be headlining the promotion’s first-ever event in Russia.

Covington predictably took to social media to slam Werdum for the failed USADA test:

Werdum and Covington crosser paths months back while the two were in Australia for a UFC promotional event. The notoriously provocative Covington got under “Vai Cavallo’s” skin, and the Brazilian heavyweight actually threw a boomerang at him.

Werdum was criminally summonsed for the assault and will have to return to Australia for his next court date in the near future.

Ever since then, both men have traded barbs in the press and continue to express their mutual disdain for each other.

While Werdum’s failed USADA test will keep him from his quest to regain UFC gold, Covington will be fighting for the interim welterweight title against Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC 225.

Looks like Covington got the last laugh when it comes to his beef with Werdum. Stay tuned as USADA delivers Werdum’s impending suspension!
