UFC Fighter Colby Covington Rips New NIKE Ad Featuring ‘Spineless Sack Of Shit’ Colin Kaepernick

UFC Welterweight contender Colby Covington slams new Nike ad featuring former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

A couple of days ago, Nike unveiled an add to celebrates its 30th anniversary of their “Just Do It” campaign that features a controversial former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who remains a free agent after spending six years in the sports. He gained worldwide attention after Kaepernick kneeled during the anthem in the 2016 preseason in protest of social inequality.

Kaepernick is involved in a lawsuit against the NFL and is accusing the league of colluding to keep him from playing.

Nike’s add clearly shows close up of Kaepernick’s face, and the message somehow supports the cause. Covington took note of this news, took to social media to rips Nike and a “spineless sack of sh-t” Kaepernick for the campaign, as well called for a boycott for athletic apparel.

Kaepernick’s act of choosing to kneel, during the national anthem before NFL games, angered the president of United Stated Donald J Tump. Trump criticise the NFL for not letting their players stand during the Anthem before the games. Covington who’s a hardcore fan of Trump, trying to make America great again and even visited him at the white house last month.

Covington also mentioned Pat Tillman a former NFL player, who quite back in 2002 to join the armed forces after 9/11 attacks and lost his life in Afghanistan in 2004.

Covington is currently not scheduled to fight anyone but will likely to stripped of his interim title after choose not to fight Tyron Woodley at UFC 228, instead Darren Till got the nod.
