Chris Lytle talks about fighting Nick Diaz and nearly coming out of retirement for UFC 137

Every article ever composed about Chris Lytle was done so this past August. Aside from the end of this summer, there have been no Lytle mentions on MiddleEasy (besides when he fought Brian Ebersole at UFC 127) — and we apologize for it. I guess we didn’t care that Chris grabbed ten ‘Of the Night’ bonuses in his last twelve UFC fights prior to retirement or that he did something in his last fight against Dan Hardy that Georges St. Pierre couldn’t do in twenty-five minutes of fighting. LayzieTheSavage caught up with Chris Lytle yesterday at the UFC press conference and discovered that he nearly came out of retirement just to fight at UFC 137.
