The most disappointing moment of UFC on Versus was the John Howard vs. Jake Ellenberger doctor stoppage. Although it was probably the right call considering how fast the eye puffed up, everyone was still itching to see that last 2:39 seconds of round 3. If only the UFC could include those two minutes and thirty-nine seconds as a bonus inside a box of cereal or a reward for every week that War Machine goes w/out a prison fight, I’m pretty sure we’d all get to see the epic ending we were all hoping for. Instead, those 2:39 seconds wasted themselves away as we wonder what could have become of their potential and all that’s left to remind us are these day-after photos of Doomsday’s eye. [Source]
