Cat Zingano is no longer a fan of Cris Cyborg.
The former UFC title challenger and soon-to-be Bellator title challenger isn’t liking the pre-fight antics Cyborg has been cooking up in the build-up to their potential featherweight title fight.

Zingano will more than likely get the next crack at Cyborg’s title after a stunning four-fight win streak to start off her Bellator run. However, the fight has yet to be announced by the promotion, leaving many fans to wonder when it will take place or if it will even happen at all.
‘Alpha’ Cat is puzzled as well.
“I was told to get ready by the end of September, early October,” Zingano relayed on The MMA Hour. “So, I don’t have an exact date, [Cyborg] is supposedly the opponent and I don’t have a location either, but that’s the plan. I’m curious what’s gonna happen cause I have heard some different angles with what’s going on with Bellator, as a company in a whole. Kind of gotta wait and see what that looks like coming up. But, uh, as of now, that’s the plan and that’s what I’m doing. That’s what I’m getting ready for.
“It’s kind of just hard to know what [is going on with Bellator]. I’ll get ready all the same. I’ll plan it all the same. The only thing is a bummer is if it postpones things and then you end up with an extremely long training camp or like an extremely short training camp. Those kinds of things are always a kind of a pain in the ass, but ultimately it’s… [you] stay the right amount of ready where you don’t have to make any huge adjustments for it.”
Zingano Says Cyborg Turned Into An ‘Awkward Bully’
For Zingano, her next opponent Cris Cyborg isn’t the person she once thought she was. Bad blood has boiled between the two over the past few years in regards to a potential fight. But, according to Zingano, the beef has been pretty one-sided with Cyborg antagonizing her.
“She’s not my favorite person. She’s kind of creepy to me,” Zingano said of Cyborg. “Like she does really cringey, creepy things, and it’s a bummer because I really did respect her for a long time. We knew some pretty close people that were some similar friends and friendships.
“I don’t really know what she’s trying to do with her legacy right now. She’s kind of turned into like an awkward bully and I don’t know, it just blows me out. She really was like a great athlete for a while, and I don’t really know what she’s doing.”
‘It Makes Me Think About A Restraining Order’
Zingano continued her rant, citing Cyborg had bought a domain, ‘alphacatzingano.com‘, which was a landing page for all things Cris Cyborg. Now that’s mental warfare…
“The week of my last fight, she went and bought, alphacatzingano.com and she was putting it on all of my posts and all of my comments and things. I just thought it was weird and just kind of like, what is that? Like a sociopath or something like that,” Zingano continued. “Like, why are you constantly thinking about me? Why are you constantly messing with me?”
“It’s weird because it’s on one hand, I wanna beat the sh*t out of her the second I see her, which I don’t wanna get in trouble. The other one is like how cringey and creepy and ‘stalkery’ she is. It makes me think about a restraining order, so it’s what do you do with someone like that? I understand it’s the industry and people talking and making waves to introduce the fight is one thing, but the fight’s happening.
“I don’t really know why she’s so weird,” Zingano added. “She’s a weird girl these days.”
