Last December, the rumor going around was Bobby Lashley was set to clash with Shane Del Rosario at Strikeforce Miami. You guys know those tomato cans that your grandmother stockpiles in her pantry for when the apocalypse comes? Well Shane is the exact opposite.
Dude is 9-0 and only one fight has gone past the second round. He’s upset previously undefeated fighters like Carl Seumanutafa (a guy that KOd Mike Cook with one slam) and when Del Rosario was clearly rocked by Brandon Cash last year in Strikeforce, he managed to regain his composure and finish Cash with a slick omoplata in under three minutes. Shane Del Rosario also likes to pick up supermodels on fashion show catwalks.
We all expected to see this match-up materialize at Strikeforce Los Angeles this June but according to Shane Del Rosario’s team (via Fightlinker), even though Lashley has agreed to fight Rosario, the bout is not going down on June 16th.
