Kimbo Slice and Winston Duke

Shout out to the late great Kimbo Slice. Long live the underground King. Over two years after his unfortunate death, Slice is still making news.

Kimbo takes Hollywood? You got our attention. A new report suggests Black Panther star Winston Duke, who played M’Baku in the Marvel Universe, is set to star as Kimbo Slice in a future movie project.

Per IMDb

“Winston Duke reportedly will star as late mixed-martial-arts star Kevin Ferguson, better known as Kimbo Slice, in a biopic titled Backyard Legend. Duke also is listed as an executive producer on the project.

Duke was among the breakout stars of this year’s Black Panther, in which he played M’Baku. He reprised the role in Avengers: Infinity War. The Marvel Cinematic Universe hits are his first two major film roles, in addition to TV appearances on “Modern Family” and “Person of Interest.”

Perfect casting. Who’s going to play Gary and Jared Shaw in the movie though?

As always Rest in Power in Kimbo.
