Bigfoot Silva appears to be interested in venturing into slap-fighting. Silva recently made his official retirement from mixed martial arts (MMA), ending a legendary career that began back in 2005. The former UFC heavyweight title contender ended his MMA career on a seven-fight losing streak, forcing him to make the decision to hang up his gloves for good.
Now, it appears that Silva is looking to venture into a new field of combat. That field is slap-fighting. With Dana White’s Power Slap League now hitting the scene, it’s never been more likely for a former UFC star the likes of Silva to join such an organization. “Bigfoot” appears to be teasing exactly that with his latest Instagram page.

Silva took to his Instagram and shared a photograph of his massive hand. He captioned it with the daunting message “There is not a human being on earth who could survive my slap!”

Silva hasn’t picked up a combat sports victory since his TKO win over Soa Palelei back in 2015. Since, he has been defeated in MMA, professional boxing, bare-knuckle boxing, and kickboxing. His last fight took place in July of 2022 against Vyacheslav Datsik where Silva was defeated via second-round TKO just 44 seconds into the round.
