Ben Askren Demolishes Dillon Danis In A Twitter Spectacle!

Ben Askren Rips Bellator’s Dillon Danis On Twitter.

The legendary trade between Ben Askren and Demetrious Johnson was completed last weekend. “Mighty Mouse” wasn’t happy with the way UFC promotes the fights. Yet, Askren enjoys challenging potential rivals on social media.

Dana White promised “Funky” is going to fight someone in the top five at his UFC debut. So Askren comes up with new and creative comments almost every day. Nearly the whole UFC Welterweight division was called!

Dillon Danis actually started this “Twitter spectacle” by commenting one of Askren’s tweets. Sometimes copying the same things over and over is a great defensive strategy against guys with such a big mouth like “Funky”. Take a look at how Ben Askren was leading the battle versus Dillon’s magical symbol.

Ben Askren quickly tried to take over the control of the battlefield.

“Dillon I know it went right over your head, but I know the only things you understand are acting tough and saying douchey things,” he wrote, hoping to get an angry response from Dillon.

Ben Askren received another “response” when he tried to look back at Dillon’s controversial wrestling statements.

“My personal favorite stupid thing you have said was that your average HS wrestling background would prepare Conor for [Khabib Nurmagomedov],” Askren added in a second Tweet. “Lololol that worked out really well. Great job Dillon.”

But it looks like Askren lost his patience in the end.

“And lastly shut up for a while, stop directly copying your idol’s shtick,” Askren wrote. “You weren’t even the best at BJJ (Garry Tonon’s bitch) so maybe you could try to have some success at MMA.”

Ben Askren didn’t get the response he wanted. But “Funky” wasn’t even thinking about pulling back. He was attacking Dillon Danis over and over.

Do you think Dillon Danis might reply to Askren’s calls sometimes? Do you believe Conor’s BJJ coach used a great strategy to defend? Stay tuned! This could be far from over!
