Ben Askren Puts Every UFC Welterweight Contender On Blast After Reports Arose That He’d Traded To UFC For Demetrious Johnson
Former ONE and Bellator welterweight champ Ben Askren is seemingly on his way to the UFC thanks to the historic trade deal with former flyweight champion Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson headed to ONE Championship in return. The deal hasn’t officially announced yet and, Askren has already put half of the UFC welterweight division on the notice.
While Askren wasted no time calling out opponents and has already stated that former interim welterweight contender Colby Covington could be on his top list. ‘Funky’ also mentioned Darren Till and Jorge Masvidal as potential opponents.
“Hey [Darren Till] you feel like going on a losing streak?” Askren said as Till who suffered his first loss to Tyron Woodley at UFC 228 in September.

Till caught wind of Askren’s comments, vows to demolish him in the cage.

Welterweight Alan Jouban who took notice of Askren’s wrath on Twitter and began an exchange with former ONE and Bellator champion.
