It’s been about a month so now is a good time for a Ben Rothwell face turn. From super villain laughter to hairy baby face, Rothwell has a new target in his sights; Travis Browne. Rothwell can’t spend every night of his life plotting to take over the world like lab mice, he also has beef to start and UFC heavyweight fights to book.
For his part nobody likes Travis Browne at the moment. Browne’s wife, Jenna Renee Webb posted photographs on her Instagram of alleged domestic abuse courtesy of the UFC heavyweight. Then Browne’s agent John Fosco opened his mouth and made everything worse for his client.
Fosco opened up to Fox Sports about the Browne family.
“Travis is 1000-percent innocent,” Fosco said. “He is going to allow the UFC investigation to take its course and allow the professionals to do their job and not depend on Instagram or Twitter or the court of public opinion. Travis has children he loves very much and just wants the truth to come out.”
Browne’s manager also says that he believes that once the investigation is completed, the fighter will be exonerated. For now, Fosco stands by his client and says the 6’7″ heavyweight is being persecuted in the public eye for one major reason right now.
“Big man,” Fosco said, “Easy target.”
Maybe save your wordplay for another time Fosco? The UFC has suspended Browne from UFC activities while their own investigation takes place. Rothwell for his part wants Browne to be his next Octagon opponent and the beef is there right on Twitter for all to see.
