Andreas Kraniotakes’ fight with Tim Sylvia at Pro Elite was scrapped, but it’s back on now

If you are on Twitter there is a 52% chance that Andreas Kraniotakes follows you, the guy loves Twitter, and he could be the friendliest German with a beard in existence. You should follow him. Also, before we get any further in this article, I want to point out that I may be the only writer alive who knew how to spell Kraniotakes’ name before he joined the ranks of Pro Elite. I can’t prove it, so you will just have to believe me, but after battling the heavyweight German in EA MMA for hours on end, I feel like I know him better than anyone. Literally anyone.

Things have been pretty hectic for Pro Elite and their heavyweights lately, first Pedro Rizzo get’s injured and has to back out of his fight with Tim Sylvia. Andreas Kraniotakes saves the day and steps in to take on The Maine-iac but then get’s pulled off the card by the Illinois Athletic Commission due to a lack of ‘sanctioned fights (at 12-4?). Luckily after a few tense hours, licensing has been settled and Kraniotakes just tweeted/confirmed/confweeted that all is well and the fight is back on-Sylvia/Kraniotakes 1 will go down in the great city of Moline, Illinois on November the 5th in this year of our Lord 2011.
