Aside from scoring knockouts and winning world championships, Alex Pereira’s favorite pastime has to be playing pranks on his friend, Glover Teixeira

‘Poatan’ pulled off yet another one, sharing the evidence on social media. This time, the pair appeared to be out at a sushi restaurant when Pereia handed Teixeira what appeared to be something appetizing. As it turns out, it was nothing more than a restaurant napkin.

In the clip, which you can see below courtesy of Pereira’s Instagram, the ex-middleweight champ slyly hands Teixeira the dish and then sits back to enjoy his handy work.

“Look at the prank I’m going to do to Glover. It’s a napkin to clean hands, and I’ll tell him it’s to eat,” Pereira says in Portuguese, grinning.

“Good, huh?” Teixeira responds in Portuguese after getting handed the dish. “F*ck, man. Damn.”

“Come on, ‘Poatan!’” Teixeira adds after eating it. “F*ck you, man!”

Alex Pereira Will Look to Claim His Second UFC Title in November

When he’s not busy tormenting his best friend, Alex Pereira is gearing up for another big UFC title tilt this November. As announced by UFC CEO Dana White, ‘Poatan’ will step into the co-main event at Madison Square Garden to compete for the vacant light heavyweight championship. Meeting Pereira inside the Octagon will be the division’s former king, Jiri Prochazka, who will be looking to resume his reign after vacating the title due to a severe shoulder injury.

Pereira, who has already held the UFC’s middleweight championship, made his move to light heavyweight in July and scored a split-decision win over Jan Blachowicz to earn his shot at capturing his second strap in as many weight classes.

Standing in Pereira’s way will be the heavy-hitting Czech who defeated Glover Teixeira to claim the title in an intense back-and-forth war at UFC 275 last year before relinquishing the belt.
