Today marks a sad day in gaming. Today is the final day that Irrational Games puts out any sort of new content, the studio that created System Shock 2, BioShock 1 and BioShock Infinite. It’s time to pour out a root beer float for them and not just any root beef float one with Häagen-Dazs ice cream and craft root beer. That’s what Ken Levine would’ve wanted anyways.
The final DLC for BioShock Infinite is now out, Burial at Sea Part II. In case you aren’t aware I loved the the first DLC for BSI. It was the ultimate fan service for fans of the series, it gave you everything you could’ve hoped for.
As this trailer shows, it looks like we’ll get more of the same in terms of fan service. It seems to be an appropriate swan song for the guys over at Irrational Games. We’ll miss you guys.
