Rockstar is releasing a GTA Online patch tomorrow that will hopefully fix some problems

Look, if you are like most of us, you’ve spent countless hours in front of your television looking at damned clouds while there might be a little swirl in the bottom right corner once in a while to show you that things are still in the process of maybe, sort of working. That has been the GTA Online experience in a nutshell. Of course, the servers tend to work better at night when less people are hammering them trying to get on, but that’s not the point, right? You want to be able to just sit down and play the game whenever you have time, not when you know the kiddies are sleeping and won’t be trying to grief you while apartment hunting in Los Santos.

Rockstar is planning on fixing some issues tomorrow with the first GTA Online patch! The issues being fixed are, sadly, just about connectivity issues it seems and not actual problems with the core game. It looks like Rockstar wants to just get everybody playing the game first before they address some really crappy issues that come along with the game modes itself. That’s fine, as we want more people playing, but even then, it might get a bit weird and messy? Right now they are looking to fix issues concerning the initial mission to GTA Online, which seems to get people stuck for quite a while, as well as general server stuff. Hopefully this means that the main missions stop automatically failing and it being so damned hard to just join a match with your friends.

Sadly, GTA $ are suspended for the time being, as in you cannot purchase them until a further date, although you can earn money through missions. As someone who has played quite a few of the missions in the game, I will say this; screw deathmatch, team deathmatch and last team standing modes. Anything that involves death will just cost you money in the end, which sucks. Dying in one of those modes costs 5% of the total you have in the bank, up to $5,000. So, as you can imagine, it makes “winning” a Team Deathmatch and getting $4,000 seem rather futile when you die three or four times in the process.
