Former Two-Division Champion Conor Mcgregor Offers A Sneak Peak Into His UFC 229 Training

Since the UFC announced that a showdown between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor Mcgregor would headline UFC 229, there is visibly a lack of promotion for October 6th fight card, which might be one of the biggest in the history of UFC and will break all previous PPV records for the company according to head honcho Dana White.

In his recent interview with TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter, White promised that promotional presser for UFC 229 is on their way and in the meantime, UFC dropped three small promotional videos.

On Tuesday, Mcgregor posts a video of a training session, which shows a compilation of sparring, wrestling, striking and other strength workouts and he looks scary good.

Mcgregor has not fought inside the Octagon since winning the lightweight title back in November of 2016, and he opens as a slight underdog. With a very less time left to prepare himself for the bout against Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is one of the best wrestlers in the MMA. With many started to worry that Mcgregor could have ring rust, but when you look at his recent training video, he seems sharp and more than ready.

We all know what Conor is capable of and it’s so awesome to see him back in a beast mode.

Khabib Nurmagomedov who’s currently undefeated and looking to extend his record to 27-0 when he clashes with Mcgregor on October 6.

Both Mcgregor and Khabib have bad blood, it all stems from when Mcgregor attacked a UFC fighters bus at Barclay’s Center back in April, reportedly looking for Khabib, in retaliation when Khabib had hotel altercation with Irishman’s teammate Artem Lobov earlier that week. Due to that infamous attack, couple fighters landed in the hospital.

Even Mcgregor’s former boxing rival, Floyd Mayweather dishes out advice to “The Eagle’ telling him not to take Mcgregor easy as he’s a warrior.
